Dr. James Ross

Dr. James Ross, born in 1854, was educated at McGill University prior to setting up practice in Dundas.

On the advice of Dr. William Osler, Dr. Ross took over the practice of Dr. D.G. Inksetter.

A prominent Dundas citizen, Dr. Ross was chair of the Board of Education and military surgeon for the local regiment. He was also known to be a proficient marksman.
