Ethel and John Eden’s Helen Street Farm

Ethel Constance Eden (née Blay) b.1885-d.1959 and John Henry Eden b.1877-d.1965 were both born in England, but they met and married in Hamilton, ON. The Eden family had a market-garden farm on Helen Street in Dundas. Ethel sold the flowers from her well-known gladiola garden to florists and individuals. The family also had an amazing horse that could do tricks and even count. The horse was trained by Bob (Buck) Eden b.1917-d.2001.
