Sled used by Helen and Mary Bain

Child’s wooden sled, with thin metal over the runners. Decorated with a painted horse and the words ‘Santa Claus’. The sled was found in the barn at “Bonnington”, home of the Honorable Thomas Bain, which was later the home of daughters Miss Helen Bain and Mrs. Mary Bertram. This sled was probably used by Helen and Mary.
